Power and Performance
The base engine on the 2020 Kia Sportage is a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower. If you upgrade to the SX Turbo trim, you can get 240 horsepower from the enhanced 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available. This new Kia model has very responsive steering and premium handling, which means you will always get a comfortable and composed ride, no matter the road conditions.
Interior
The 2020 Kia Sportage has a roomy interior, and five people can sit together comfortably. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but synthetic or genuine leather is available. Extra add-ons include heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel. This Kia SUV has a lot of cargo space; you'll have 30.7 cubic feet to work with behind the back seats and a total of 60.1 cubic feet when they are folded.Â
Bluetooth®, a USB port, a 6-speaker audio system, and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are all standard in the 2020 Kia Sportage. There are also quite a few available tech features, such as push-button start, an 8-speaker premium stereo, navigation, and satellite radio.
Safety
With a 5-star rating from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration, you can be sure the 2020 Kia Sportage is a safe vehicle. Pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking all come standard. You can also get rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring on the higher trim levels.
