There are two engines offered in the 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback lineup:

• The standard powertrain includes a responsive 2.0-liter inline-four engine making 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. It works with a smooth IVT, offering a mix of power and fuel economy, perfect for fun family trips to the Jersey Shore.
• For an extra boost of power, the GT-Line Turbo trim gets a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine generating 190 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission provides smooth gear shifts and sporty performance.

Choose from five distinctive trim levels in the 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback lineup:

• LX: The base trim level gets power from a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with a CVT. It features 16-inch steel wheels with covers, standard cloth upholstery, an eight-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone pairing, rearview camera views, and a basic driver-assist package.
• LXS: Adds convenience and style upgrades, featuring upgraded interior trim with soft-touch materials, split-folding rear seats, flexible cargo storage, and additional USB ports.
• EX: The tech-focused trim, featuring a premium 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation, a wireless charging pad, and dual-zone automatic climate control. It has 17-inch alloy wheels, improved blind-spot monitoring, and enhanced rear cross-traffic alerts.
• GT-Line: The 2.0-liter engine pairs with a sport-tuned suspension for sharper handling. It features 18-inch sport alloy wheels, sport seats with contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and unique GT-Line sport bumpers, as well as gloss-black accents.
